A Private Survey (our first product) is a published survey that you intend to send to a specific list of survey recipients via manual send, .csv upload, or API integration.

A Public Survey is a published survey where you do NOT know who the survey recipients are. When a Public Survey is published, a URL is associated with the survey (and associated QR code, if desired) and can be distributed through any channel you desire. Just like Private Surveys, they can also be sent through our platform via manual send, .csv upload, or API integration. When a respondent visits the URL associated with your Public Survey, they will be asked to supply their Name and Email Address before completing the survey, unless the survey is a Public Anonymous Survey, in which case the respondent's name and email remain anonymous.
